What we build for small businesses

Most of our work is sites for small businesses that need a real home on the internet:

A one-page site for a new business that needs to be online fast.
A five to eight page site for an established business, with an SEO foundation and Google Business setup.
Booking and payment features, e-commerce, and integrations with software you already use. These are custom builds, and we scope them individually.

The web design and development page covers what each of those involves.

What it costs

Our prices are published, in Canadian dollars, plus HST:

Spark Starter: a custom one-page site, from $1,499 CAD, usually one to two weeks.
Business Site: five to eight custom pages, from $4,199 CAD, usually two to four weeks.
Custom Build: e-commerce, booking systems, and web apps, scoped and quoted as a fixed bid.
Care Plan: hosting, backups, security updates, and an hour of content edits a month, for $149 CAD a month. The first month is included with every build.

The full details are on the packages page, and what a small business website costs explains where those numbers come from.

How we work

Before we quote anything we ask what the site is for, how many pages it needs, whether it has to do something or only say something, and what it connects to. Those answers decide the price, and the same ten questions are in our cost post if you want to answer them yourself first.

Then you get a one-page proposal with the exact price, scope, and timeline before any work starts. The price is fixed against that written scope. If the scope grows partway through, we tell you and re-quote before the work happens, not after.

After launch, the care plan keeps the site hosted, backed up, and up to date. You don't have to take it. Your first month is included, and you can walk away after that.

Does ChatGPT recommend your business?

More people now ask ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude who to hire instead of searching. Our AI visibility audit shows whether they name your business when someone in Thorold asks.
